Metabolic activation is the process in which an insect’s own internal enzymes change the molecular structure and attributes of indoxacarb. This process actually increases the effectiveness of indoxacarb by converting it into the more potent form, MetaActive™ compound.
Normally, molecular degradation reduces the efficacy of insecticides, however, the opposite is true with indoxacarb. MetaActive™ then targets the insect’s nervous system, ultimately resulting in death. The outcome of this unique mode of action delivers results for outstanding insect control.
