This kit should treat an average sized 1 to 3 Bedroom home two or more times when applied according to the label.
Thorough preparation is vital to success. For proper inspection and treatment, remove bedding, disassemble bed, empty night stands, pull up edge of carpet and vacuum. Inspect thoroughly, looking for nymphs, adults, skin casings and blood spots. Look quickly when moving or uncovering items, as bed bugs move quickly when disturbed. Treat every crack and crevice within 10 -15 feet of bed or other suspected feeding sites. Thorough inspection and treatment is the key to successful control of bed bugs.
The Bed Bug Control kit contains the following items
CY-Kick CS - One pint - Indoors, apply with hand tank at 0.05% or 0.1% (1-2 oz per gallon water) Spot treat wall and floor junctures in areas with suspected activity such as bedrooms, living rooms and closets. Crack & Crevice treatment to cracks behind baseboards, window frames, door frames, under edge of carpeting, cracks between bed frame and box spring. Allow treated articles to dry thoroughly before use.
Gentrol IGR- 2 one ounce bottles - Birth Control for Bedbugs. Add 1 one ounce bottle to each mixed gallon of CY-Kick CS. Gentrol will prevent nymphs from becoming reproductive adults. Thus breaking the reproductive chain.
Bedlam - One Can - Apply as a spot treatment to cracks and crevices, around baseboards, floorboards, headboards, and walls. First thoroughly clean and air mattresses and springs. Then spot treat only areas that may harbor pests. On mattresses concentrate on tufts, folds, and seams. You can also treat behind picture frames. Move the application tip along the length of cracks and crevices. Repeat as necessary.
PYGanic Dust- One 1lb Jar - Apply with the included Eaton Bellows dusterto wall voids, tubular framing, Behind electrial outlet plates, bottom side of furniture and under carpet at tack strip. You can also pull the mesh off of the boxspring and apply lightly around wooden slats up inside the box spring where bedbugs hide. In fact the boxspring is the biggest culprit, so be sure to pay particular attention to treating it.
Steri-fab- One pint - Use on Mattress and furniture surfaces that you will come in direct contact with using a light mist. Sterifab kills bedbugs on contact and should be used between treatments to kill any live bedbugs you see. You can spray sterifab on everything except people, pets or utensils. Let dry thoroughly.
Eaton Bellows duster - For easy application of PYGanic Dust. The Eaton Bellows Duster is a neccessity.
Note: Bed Bugs control can be tough to control. Repeated treatments are common and additional treaments are usually required. However, with persistance, you can become Bed Bug free again. don't wait to act if you have or suspect Bed Bugs. The longer you wait, the harder they will be to control. We recommend that if you still see Bed Bugs after 2 weeks, repeat the treatment. Several applications 2 weeks apart are not uncommon. Be careful when traveling.
